Requirements

What you need to drive Bergen County calls for us

A valid license, a clean driving record and the ability to work outdoors in all weather; experience requirements and equipment differ by role.

Flatbed driver

Valid driver's license from New Jersey or a neighboring state, at least 21 years old, with a clean motor vehicle record for the past three years.

Able to obtain a DOT medical card; a CDL is not required for our light-duty rollbacks but is a plus.

Wheel-lift driver

Confident maneuvering a tow truck in tight urban streets, alleys and parking structures.

Able to lift 75 pounds and work outdoors in all weather, including night shifts in winter.

Owner-operator

Your own flatbed or wheel-lift tow truck, titled or leased in your name or your company's, with current NJ inspection.

Commercial auto liability and on-hook coverage at the limits in our operator agreement, with certificates on file.

Roadside provider

Registered as a sole proprietor or business able to receive weekly settlements; W-9 on file.

Smartphone for the dispatch app; able to pass a background check.
